OUTFIT STYLING GUIDE

COMPLIMENT

Stick to colors that compliment your partner or family members. Stay away from super bright colors. Neutrals are always your best friend. If we go somewhere that has a lot of color in the background, you don’t want to be competing with your surroundings! The goal is to stand apart from the environment.

KEEP IT SIMPLE

Solids and minimal pattern shirts, pants, dresses, etc. are going to help set you apart from the background and your surroundings. If you are wearing solids, have someone else, maybe the kids in a simple patterned outfit. It’s all about contrast!

COORDINATE

Groups and families can still look as if they are one if you coordinate and do not match. After-all, everyone is still an individual and certain colors may not make everyone feel confident. Having everyone coordinate also allows more dynamic images. Contrast is key.

THINK COMFORT

You can’t feel confident if you aren’t comfortable! You don’t want to be anyone but yourself during our session so wear something that makes you feel confident. Of course, we can’t always wear sweatpants but don’t pick a red carpet dress if that’s not your style!
